Confused between Canceled and Cancelled
Our trip to Japan has been canceled or cancelled and I have to explain to the GA that we no longer need to apply for visa via email.
Being confused with the right spelling of cancelled or canceled, I have consulted different people and Microsoft Office. Some answered 1 L is correct while others answered 2 Ls is correct -- which resulted to more confusion.
Now I am not the only who is confused, I have invited others.
In the end, the Goddess has spoken and made us realized that both spellings are correct.
Canceled - US English
Cancelled - UK English
Oh boy! that has taken much of my thinking powers. I thought I'm already loosing what I have learned in grade school. :P
